Size Guide

Find the size that suits you best by following the Dyadema guide for rings and bracelets.

01

Rings

Knowing how to measure your ring size correctly can save you the inconvenience of returns, alteration costs and that unpleasant moment when a ring slips off your finger and ends up down the sink. The process takes less than two minutes using tools you probably already have at home: a strip of paper, a pen and a ruler.

1

Measure a ring you already own

Following the example shown, use a ring you already own and wear on the finger you want to measure, then place it on a ruler or measuring tape. Find the inside diameter of your ring*. Once measured, compare it with the table below.

2

The paper strip (the most reliable method at home)

This is the preferred measuring method when a professional ring sizer is not available. It works for any finger on either hand, for both women and men.

Cut a strip of paper, wrap it around the base of your finger, mark the point where it overlaps, then place the paper strip on a ruler. This will give you the inside circumference of your ring.

In this table you can find the measurement conversion according to the scale used in your country, together with the corresponding Dyadema size.

PLEASE NOTE

Not all styles are made in all six sizes. If your measurement falls between two of the sizes listed, we recommend choosing the larger size.

EXTRA TIPS

Your fingers are not the same size throughout the day.

Blood flow, temperature, hydration and activity level affect how swollen or slender your fingers are at any given time. Measuring at the wrong time can alter the result by a full size.

Avoid measuring:

  • Immediately after waking up: fingers retain fluid overnight and are at their largest.
  • Immediately after exercise or intense physical activity: increased blood flow causes temporary swelling.
  • In extreme cold: fingers shrink and the ring may feel too loose once you are indoors.
  • In extreme heat: fingers swell and you may order a size that is too tight.
  • After a long flight or a sodium-rich meal: water retention can make your hands swell.

The best time to measure is in the middle of the afternoon on a normal day, when you are relaxed, at room temperature and properly hydrated. If you are unsure, measure at three different times over two days and use the middle value.

HOW TO MEASURE

To help you identify the right size, we recommend measuring the diameter of your wrist using a tailor's measuring tape and allowing 1 cm / 1.5 cm of extra room for a softer, looser fit.
